NLADA Establishes Federal Funding Listservs for SSVF and Reentry Programs

The National Legal Aid and Defender Association (NLADA) has established two interactive email listservs for civil legal aid advocates and other supporters dedicated to specific federal funding programs. The Supportive Services for Veterans Families (SSVF) listserv is aimed at creating a national dialog among those providing legal services to veterans under the SSVF program of the Department of Veterans Affairs. The listserv provides participants with an opportunity to engage their colleagues across the nation in sharing ideas and information to improve legal assistance to veterans and their families.

The second listserv is a forum for persons providing or interested in providing legal services under reentry grants and programs, including but not limited to the U.S. Dept. of Labor’s Face Forward and Training to Work programs and the U.S. Dept. of Justice’s Second Chance Act grants. The listserv provides a platform for the sharing of ideas and information to improve legal services to those needing reentry assistance.

If you are interested in joining either, or both, of these listservs please contact Chuck Greenfield, Of Counsel for NLADA, at
