This program is authorized by the FY 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015, and 2016 federal appropriation acts, which consolidated four previously authorized and appropriated programs into one comprehensive program. The Consolidated Youth and Engaging Men Program funds projects designed to provide coordinated community responses (CCR) that support child, youth and young adult victims through direct services, training, coordination and collaboration, effective intervention, treatment, response, and prevention strategies.
The Consolidated Youth and Engaging Men Program provides the opportunity for communities to increase collaboration among non-profit victim service providers, community service organizations including those focused on engaging men as role models, schools, tribes and tribal governments, and local government agencies to enhance prevention, intervention, and response efforts in addressing sexual assault, domestic violence, dating violence and stalking in children, youth and young adults ages 0-24.

Interested applicants who do not submit a Letter of Registration are still eligible to apply.

OVW will conduct two Pre-Application Conference Call Information Sessions. During these sessions, OVW staff will review the Consolidated Youth and Engaging Men Program requirements, review the solicitation, and allow for a brief question and answer session.
Participation in these sessions is optional.
The sessions are tentatively scheduled for:

- January 27, 2013 at 2:00pm EST
Anyone interested in submitting an application to the Consolidated Youth and Engaging Men
Program may register to participate in a pre-application information session. The total number of participants for each session is limited to 100 participants. Registration is on a first-come firstserve basis, and space is not guaranteed. Interested participants from the same agency/jurisdiction are strongly encouraged to participate together so that as many communities as possible may join the session. OVW reserves the right to deny multiple registrations from a single agency/jurisdiction.
To register, please email OVW.consolyouth@usdoj.gov with the preferred date of the preapplication information session. Registration must be received at least two days prior to the start of the session. Special accommodations for deaf or hard of hearing individuals or non-English speaking individuals can be provided if email notification is provided to OVW 10 business days prior to the information session. Requests for special accommodations should be emailed to OVW.consolyouth@usdoj.gov.

- A nonprofit, nongovernmental organization, or an Indian tribe or tribal nonprofit organization with:
- a demonstrated primary goal of providing services to children and youth who are victims of and/or exposed to sexual assault, domestic violence, dating violence, or stalking; or
- a demonstrated primary goal of serving adult victims of sexual assault, domestic violence, dating violence, or stalking, but that has a demonstrated history of providing comprehensive services to children or youth who are victims of and/or exposed to sexual assault, domestic violence, or stalking; or
- A unit of local government.
Engaging Men Projects:
- A nonprofit, nongovernmental organization, or an Indian tribe or tribal nonprofit organization with:
- a demonstrated history of creating effective public education to prevent sexual assault, domestic violence, dating violence, and stalking; or
- A unit of local government.
